ONLINE GRADUATE APPLICATION FORM

Introduction

Thank you so much for your interest in Rafik Hariri University. Admission to graduate programs is based on merit. It is offered to applicants holding undergraduate degrees from RHU or other accredited institutions. Students can apply to graduate studies for the fall or spring semesters.

To complete your online application, you have to go through the four steps. Applicants who do not hear back on their application status within 10 working days from applying, are requested to kindly contact the Admissions Office via email to admissions@rhu.edu.lb

Scanned and uploaded documents are not considered original and eventually you have to submit the original documents to the Admissions Office physically LATER

Notes and Remarks

You need to create a new account in order to log in and access the online graduate application.
It is recommended to fill this application by using your laptop, desktop or iPad.
It is recommended to use Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari as an internet explorer.
This application should be completed carefully and submitted with relevant documents.
Be careful to the required fields. You can't save a page if some required fields are not filled.

Academic Requirements

RHU Graduates are not required to submit any of the following documents:

A certified copy of the undergraduate degree.
A certified copy of the undergraduate degree equivalence.
Official transcripts and the university catalog.
A certified copy of the Lebanese Official High School Certificate or its equivalent
Two letters of recommendation. "Download here"
Minimum score on one of the following English language proficiency tests:

TOEFL - minimum 550 on the Institutional Test or RHU in-house TOEFL, or 80 on the Internet Based Test or IBT
SAT - minimum 22 on the Writing and Language Section
ILETS – minimum 6.5

Admitted students with lower than required English test scores must enroll in the Intensive English Program. Applicants coming from a recognized institution of higher education where English is the language of instruction may be exempted from taking the English exam. (Check with the Admissions Office)

Personal Data Requirements

Recent Original Personal Civil Status Record (for Lebanese applicants) - Scan and upload a clear copy
Photocopies of passport and residence permit or ID (for non-Lebanese applicants)
Three identical recent passport-size colored photos - Scan and upload one photo

Financial Requirements

A non-refundable application fee of 20$.

The non-refundable application fee can be paid by one of the following methods:

I. On Campus in Mechref:

You need to visit the Admission Office first to issue you a student ID number
Then, to the Finance Office for payment.

II. Off Campus at any of BankMed branches – Submit the Bank Application Fee Payment Form received by e-mail upon applying online.

III. Effective applicants for Fall 2024-2025 have to pay an application fee of 30$.
